The carnival celebrations in Jacmel are famous for intricate paper mache masks and street theater. Carnival celebrations did not happen last year in Haiti becuase of the January 12th earthquake. For many of the artisans in Jacmel the revenue from carnival is their primary source of income./// Artist Barthelemy Harrison puts on one of his masks in his shop.
